As you can see it is a beautiful home/store. The store is round back, there is a ramp - no stairs, so all can arrive safely.
I spoke with the owner, Maeann Bush and she was just wonderful. There were so many charts to choose from - great fabrics, all the threads, walls of silk threads. I tried to take pictures inside but so many did not come out - UGH, I never can take great pictures. This was a true Cross Stitch Shop - they do have Needlepoint also.

I stayed and browsed and chatted with Maeann about an hour too long, so I hit I-95 around Boston at rush hour - that was not pretty. But it was worth it. To the right are my purchases. I was in a Halloween mood on this vacation, and expecting another grandchild, so I picked these two charts. My daugher actually went and sat in the Truck to prompt me to get going.
This was a great shop, with everything - everything you would ever need or want for stitching. I will most likely stop in every time I get close.

ReplyDeleteLooking at the picture, I would have neved dared go in!! :D It looks so much like a private home... but joy!!! So much stuff, I would have been in cross stitch Heaven!!! I actually think you have been really good by leaving with just 2 charts - Which are great. Wish I was there x
