Stash - Just had too

Whimiscal Shoes Madart GeckoRouge
Okay, so I may have decided I could not purchase another HAED until I had a finish - my total HAED charts is somewhere around 250 and my total finishes is 1 - and that was a Freebie SAL... BUT I did not say I would not purchase a chart from any other place.  So today I purchased Whimiscal Shoes by Madart GeckoRouge is the vendor.  Fell in love with this chart - after seeing the review on Thea's blog   Free Shipping... So excited, can't wait. UPDATE: GreckoRouge sent to me via email my new chart, as a PDF.  Received the chart in color, in black and white, and a thread listing with number of stitches and lengths....  Yes I am happy, and Yes I will have to have a new start.  Can't help myself. Happy Dance...

  3. Thanks for the mention Melinda and thank you for the feedback it's greatly appreciated! I'm glad you liked the review and I'm glad that decided to give Gecko Rouge a try. Kimberley at Gecko Rouge is a lovely and very helpful girl and the chart and kits are fantastic! Don't forget to write a review on their website for the chart if you get chance!

Oh, and to answer your gridding question (the answer is also in my FAQ tab) I use soluble marker pens, the blue gridlines are a water soluble one that washes out in cool or tepid water (or when sprayed with Febreze like I do!) and the purple gridlines are an air soouble one that vanishes on it's own after about 48 hours (but also is removable with cool water). Hope that helps!

  4. Hi Melinda! Just joined your followship and this is the first post of yours that I read and it cracked me up. Love love love the justification for purchasing the new chart. But as far as I'm concerned if you love it buy it, the end!!!

I also have around the same number of HAED charts and only 1 finish!!! OMG we are truly sisters of the thread. I love all your wips and looking forward to more posts from you.

    1. Alicia, you are so right - I mean why am I moaning and groaning about the whole stash thing anyway. Heck, some ladies buy shoes - some jewels, I buy Cross Stitch stuff...well I have other vices too, but that would have to be in a differnt blog...

    1. It is a craziness I know, I started purchasing charts when I was losing Weight, and I rewarded my self each week with charts, and then I continued to do the same thing when I was able to maintain my weight. It worked for me. But I really do have to find another way.
