So I am struggling with this new post - what use to be so simple creating these update posts - I am not sure but its taking a few tries to get my updated pictures in here. Thanks to Katie - Jeremiahs mom - she has introduced me to several different Facebook and Flosstube accounts There are so many SALS, or stitching games available The great thing about these games are the prompts - and if I follow along with these prompts I will actually make some progress on several of my WIPS... Also when I reviewed my last posts in 2020 - I found all the the projects unfinished in 2020 - well sad they are still WIPS. I have finished somethings since 2020 and will take on the task of posting them sometime. But first trying to concentrate on the projects I am working on.
Wildlife stocking - A CrossStitch Christmas Book - In August I worked on the Cardinal - I started in middle and I am now working up - of course I did not take before pictures and I have no clue what fabrics are - but I think this could be 28ct white evenweave
Yes I left the needle in This is from Stoney Creek - I think Autumn 2025 - It is a 4 part series and I believe this is part three. Because Laura from Stitching by the shore has an I Spy game and one of the prompts was Something with A Sting (probably not an exact quote) I started this and did my best to pyt in at least 200 stitches - which is why I worked on the NICE
This is part of a three project layout - Winter Vistas from an old Leisure Arts - I will grab all these charts and update with all the info next time - I did this for Book Title - Bridges over Madison County This book I read probably 20 years ago and it has stuck with me ever since - Movie with Clint Eastwood did not even compare to the book - but of course This is also on a white aida and a new start and I worked across top to try to complete all the sky
Looks like I have a bad habit of leaving needles in - This was started in a SAL with stitchers from my now closed LNS. They have both finished this - I started this before 2020. And I have a mistake on the far right of the cabin - I did not put the dark brown logs in - ugh. However I am moving forward and stitched most of the wagon - the 2nd horse and those couple of letters
I am publishing this and will have another post to share the rest of my August stitching - and gather more details about my work to share on the blog
You're off to a great start with your wips. I particularly love your sampler - it's gorgeous.
