March End Post - A Day Late

Stitching Lotus Small SAL 2017

Here is Three French Hens.  These little blocks are so difficult to stitch for me.  And I am not sure why. There is a  great sense of accomplishment when one is complete.     So April begins with Three French Hens complete and Four Calling Birds ready to go.

This is the progress I have made on Woneta.  She is part of my Year of WIPS Facebook Challenge.Very close to have a finish here.  Will continue to work on her in April.
I also started another little Prarie Schooler Folk Art Egg

April Plans.  The Theme-tas-Stitch for April is Rain, Water.  Which is perfect for April.  Because in Central New York that is all it does.  I am sure I will have lots of projects to stitch on.

  4. Which Facebook group does the year of WIP's? I've recently started joining a few groups, but can't say they've helped me stop adding to my WIP pile. The french hens are lovely, is it the back-stitching that makes them feel so slow?

  10. There are a lot of colour changes in the 12 Days, maybe that's why they are tricky? They look great though!
As does Woneta and the wonderful folk art egg on black. I love stitching on black, the colours just pop.
