Not a Stitching Update

I thought if I blogged I would feel better.  I am very, very blue today.  We like minded New Yorkers are not processing anything today.

Please let me believe that there is a kinder more compassionate side to this person we have heard and seen in these past few months.

Please pray for our Country.  That we may get past this election and still hold to the belief that all humans are created equal - and have the same liberties and freedoms.  Love is Love (no matter who you love)  God is God (no matter how your worship).  The color of my skin or my sex or my place of origin does not determine my character or worth.

Please pray for America to go forward.

  1. Best of luck to you and your fellow Americans, my dear - it just goes to show either a) the conservative people of the world want their voices heard (just think Brexit and the re-election of Pauline Hanson here in Australia and now Trump in the U.S) or b) the world has gone mad!

  2. You've spoken a great truth. America and Americans are strong, you'll come through this.

  3. I think many of us felt this way today. I was shocked and more than a little disappointed by the election results. Now we have to pray more than ever for America and the world.

  4. I know how you feel, we felt the same in the UK after the vote to leave the EU this summer.
I only hope there are people employed in the White House who can restrain his worst excesses. He will be completely out of his depth and should leave the business of governing to those qualified! The worst thing about him is that he legitimises the hatred towards anyone who is not a straight, white male.
