SAL UPDATE -- Ornament and Bothy Threads

My June Ornament is a Lizzie Kate - Let Freedom Ring.  Since I am on this Super Patriotic Kick - of course, because I was raised as if 4th of July was the 2nd most important Holiday of the year after Christmas.  We are all Red White and Blue here getting ready for the 4th.  I know this picture is sideways.  And I have tried today to switch it - and I give up.  This is for my Ornament SAL over at Stitching Lotus

Next up is my Monday SAL Bothy Threads Cut Thru Garden Shed.  I worked very hard to do the roof all the way to the end, and then I worked very hard FROGGING - because I had made a little mistake, and things would not line up correctly.... I so do not like to frog. Debbie and  Linda are the wonderful ladies organizing and updating this SAL

To complete my Birthday Celebration, I am going to take a small road trip to Mass, and Vermont the next couple of days.  I am looking for Needlework shops as I travel.  Will share any I find.

Happy Stitching..

  1. funny, i had the same problem with my roof, had to rip out a rather large section, i was not impressed, but what can you do? Enjoy your road trip, i can imagine that should be a lot of fun visiting needlework shops along the way - look forward to seeing your stash enhancement buys - Amanda

  2. Love your Let Freedom ring piece. I have it and need to stitch mine. Good progress on Bothy Threads SAL. I know frogging is no fun. But it was all worth it to have everything line up properly. I know because I too have had to frog some on my Bothy threads Fairy Hill. I hope I its correct now. Have a great trip. love Annette

  3. Congrats on the cute ornament finish. You still made good progress on the Garden Shed even with the visit from the frog.
    Have a fun trip.

  6. I love your Patriotic ornament! I haven't been keeping up with the monthly ornament SAL. I'm sorry about the frogging on your roof, but congrats on getting all the way to the other side! I added your progress pic to the SAL page: http://debbiescrossstitch.blogspot.com/p/bothy-threads-cut-thru-sal.html

Here is a website where you select the state and it will give you a list of Needlework shops to visit: http://hoffmandis.com/index.cfm?page=shops
